I photographed the South Fork River in daylight. When I began painting, I began to visualize it as a nightime scene.

I am a native Colorado artist and I paint out of Pueblo. Most of what you see here is within a day's drive: the bluffs south of Florence, Ophir Creek, the Arkansas River, and the Four Corners country I keep going back to. I love the area west of Pueblo in the fall when the cottonwoods change.
